Clean Recovery Centers Now Testing all Clients and Employees for COVID-19 and Antibody to Minimize Risk of Exposure

Tampa, FL, May 20, 2020 – As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a risk to the Tampa Bay community, Clean Recovery Centers has implemented new testing protocols, increasing its effort to minimize exposure to employees and clients.

With the assistance of Ammon Labs, all clients, employees, and contractors of Clean Recovery Centers will be tested for COVID-19 and IgG Antibody prior to admission/care. The new COVID-19 Antibody IgG test is a chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay used for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to SARS-CoV-2.

Ammon Labs is committed to running their toxicology and blood Lab 24/7 while they continue to provide screening testing results within 9 hours and confirmation results within 25 hours. These timely results will allow clients in dire need of detoxification to be admitted to the facility as quickly as possible.

“We are following CDC guidelines as we continuously expand our efforts to minimize risk within our facilities and community,” said CEO Shayne Sundholm. “These tests are another layer of confidence that we are doing as much as we can to fight this pandemic.”

Clean Recovery Centers COVID-19 Policies and Procedures continue to expand as new learnings and technologies are known. The addition of blanket testing will provide peace-of-mind to clients who are already suffering from anxiety that often accompanies addiction.

“These tests are extremely important to the longevity of Clean Recovery Centers and facilities like ours that our offering help to people struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. The ongoing support group meetings many rely on for their sobriety are now closed and the possibility of relapse is a real fear for many.”
